Started as a solo pursuit of Loch Alainn with added Loch Seaforth spotting, but Fay decided she would like to come along. Which meant the dietary intake was much more civilised. After the first 'it says Private Road' comment I thought it might be a challenging day, but no! Loch Seaforth was followed by a coffee break - I decided LOTI wouldn't make a good shot as she was at the east end of the Garvel and there would be poles and wires in the way. Coruisk took us to Rothesay (hence the title - Mallaig to Armadale being the answer...) and before an objection could be tabled I was off up the track to Ardmaleish. Access was generously granted for Loch Buie and Corran, and then we headed for Rhubodach, where I nearly missed the boat. It wouldn't have been a problem except dearly beloved and the (dearly beloved) car were already on board. A reroute was mooted for lunch at Creggans but thankfully the inland route was pooh poohed for the original Western move back. Just as well as I had left the Bute pics for later....
