My first official shift as a Larbert driver, although for heritage purposes the ex Linlithgow drivers have retained their old driver numbers, possibly to avoid the need to replace the Almex cards. What looked like Duty 2506 turned into a Spare shift. First move was a 919 positioning journey from Falkirk ASDA to Bo'ness (express....) then a 5 to Langlees and back to Falkirk BS where I was permitted 30 minutes for tiffin. 62296 was a non-switch-off to be returned to Larbert for the big hammer treatment. Prep and position 69288 for the next 38 plug, then take 31499 to 'the' Haggs to change over 61233 which was in a slight heap. The man in the overalls drove 61233 back so I got to scratch in 90451! Several snaps in the MRU were also had, including 579....
