Lothian Leyland Finale
Lothian bade farewell to Leyland power in the main fleet on 14th March 2009 after ninety years with three of the "Penicuik" red ex Airport coach seated vehicles 366, 367 and 371 being turned out as part of the additional resource for a Murrayfield game. Mild flappage as the (un)advertised time for muster at Clerwood seemed under threat, but they appeared out of the gloom and posed for snaps. The potential diversion of these duplicates via Ravelston Dykes didn't come to pass, but we did get an otherwise unavailable bit of Murrayfield Road. Apparently 371 rescreened as a PR 26 for Kings Road having left Charlotte Square, but that's another story.
