Lothian Country Buses
Lothian Country Buses commenced operations as East Lothian Buses with a single route from the Western General Hospital to Pencaitland. The principal difference (apart from the white buses and green wheels....) is that there is a two tier fares structure. 637 was bagged first morning of operation on 11th June 2012. Late October 2012 saw the arrival of five green and cream liveried Volvo Eclipse for the service, in a "nod" to the former Eastern Scottish livery for the country buses. 197 pops up first thing on the Monday morning and then, at lunchtime, the only bus I see is....197. Poop. December 2012 saw theuse of a door forward Wright Streetlite demonstrator. 5 new Eclipses for the 113 (plus 2 Tridents) are being joined by 5 recycled Eclipses 171-175 for the 104 to Haddington
