A montage of new and old musical 'stars' hosted by the delightful Alex Jones. Various comedians were wheeled out to distract as the stagehands scurried about. I seemed to be the only person in the entire audience who wasn't being allowed to take photos 'because my lens was too big and it's not allowed'. Read into that the one pro who had bothered to turn up had complained. Towards the end I was being 'stood over'. There was some debate but it wasn't too hotly pursued as G4S next stop was probably the polis - in spite of the fact everyone else was freely snapping and videoing away, and there was no statement anywhere about photography. Please be assured, I checked and double checked. I was only there to spot Alex.
